Check in at your
leisure from 2.00pm onwards. Mulled wine and minced
pies on arrival.
Settle into your room and familiarise yourself with
your surroundings.
You may wish to take a stroll through the private parkland
to Elterwater Lake, enjoy the stunning scenery at Colwith
Force (nearby waterfall) or pick up a festive treat
while exploring the small historic town of Ambleside.
For a more leisurely experience simply relax and unwind
by the blaze of the log fire in our sitting room and
enjoy superb panoramic views of the Elterwater Valley
and Loughrigg Fell. A selection of board games available.
From 7.00pm pre-dinner drinks and a chance to meet
your fellow guests followed by a traditional four-course
dinner.

 Enjoy
a full English breakfast then clear away the cobwebs
with an optional guided walk. (2 - 4 hours, starts at
Midday). There will be a special treat for those who
make it to the top! Or, if you prefer, just relax by
the log fire.
In the evening we have a five-course dinner, with drinks
beforehand, followed by our special celebrations to
see in the New Year with a bang!

back into gear with our fun filled Treasure Hunt while
taking in some superb local views.
From 7.00pm there will pre-dinner drinks followed by
four-course dinner.
